After the November 2015 elections, Aung San Suu Kyi called for national reconciliation, beginning with release of political prisoners and reduced role of the military in the government. But how far has Myanmar come in finding solutions to the ongoing armed conflicts in ethnic areas of the country? Can Myanmra find peaceful solutions to sectarian and religious violence? I’ll share my view from Yangon.
